By Fri. 1/6: Email your Women + War essays to: Cherie.Newman@mso.umt.edu and email a copy to me: clmancini@mcps.k12.mt.us.
Wed. 1/11: Finish reading Book 3, Republic + summarize main points in notebook.
Fri. 1/13: Finish reading Book 4, Republic + summarize main points in notebook. Be prepared to share a piece of research about Sparta or other information related to our reading.
Wed. 1/18: This will be a work day. Read and decide on your groups for the Hell Project. Choose 1 section from the 3 listed on the board.
Fri. 1/20: Finish reading Book 5, Republic + summarize main points in notebook. Read through p. 56 in Inferno. Outside Reading due.
Fri. 1/27: Finish reading your chosen section in Inferno (okay if this is not done until Tues. But note there is another reading assignment for Tues, too).

IF YOU ARE TAKING THE AP EXAM AND HAVE NOT YET GOTTEN AN AP REVIEW BOOK, YOU MUST DO SO IN THE NEXT WEEK. (You can share one with a friend you see regularly.)

Tues. 1/31: Finish reading Book 6, Republic. Plato's Divided Line
Thurs. 2/2: Finish reading Book 7, Republic. Plato Allegory of the Cave
Mon. 2/6: Finish reading Book 8, Republic.
Wed. 2/8: Finish reading Book 9, Republic.
Fri. 2/10: Finish reading Book 10, Republic; Discussion on Myth of Er + other from Republic + then work day for Inferno Project. Begin making your AP Vocab. Flashcards + review.
Tues. 2/14: Watch film on Republic and discuss. You will need to watch this for the Exam (on 2/27).
Thur. 2/16: Work day for Inferno Project. Make new AP Vocab. Flashcards.
Tues. 2/21: Watch "Greek through Christian" lecture on DVD. You will need to watch this for the Exam (on 2/27).
Thurs. 2/23: Inferno Projects due. Make more AP Vocab. Flashcards + review.
Mon. 2/27: Group research day -- bring all of your books for cross-reference research.
Wed. 2/29: Review Day: We will review for "Greek through Christian Exam" + begin AP Test Review. Make more AP Vocab. Flashcards + review.
Fri. 3/2: Greek through Christian Exam.
Tues. 3/6: AP Test Review; Begin Othello.
Thur. 3/8: Continue Othello. Make more AP Vocab. Flashcards + review.
Mon. 3/12: Finish Othello; Othello Timed Write (graded); Begin Poisonwood Bible.
Wed. 3/14: AP multiple choice practice day.
